Workshops/ On Site Trainings
The Institute conducts a series of workshops that explore how to incorporate Langer’s research based approaches for cultivating mindfulness into all aspects of our daily lives: personal relationships, creativity, work and health. These engaging and dynamic experiences will leave participants with enhanced confidence, curiosity, vitality and sense of possibility. Workshops generally run 1-2 days and are held in a variety of locations. On or off-site training sessions are run at locations preferred by clients.
Langer Mindfulness Training has been found to improve health, cognitive abilities, stamina, creativity, relationship satisfaction, and happiness. Retreats are focused on guiding participants through an immersive learning experience that will empower them to live with greater vitality, energy and engagement. This unique process is based on Dr. Langer’s groundbreaking original research. Participants at the retreats will also be guided through a mindfulness exercises designed to help them take their new skills home with them.
For 2015-2016 we planned retreat at premier resorts in locations such as Franschhoek, Cape Town, South Africa; Puerto Vallarta and San Miguel de Allende, Mexico; and Berkshires, Massachusetts, USA. Participants will enjoy the comfort and ease of spacious lodging, delicious fare, and the natural beauty and splendor of these resorts while participating in what we believe to be a life-changing program. Additional venues in the US and Europe may be added throughout the year.
