Chase Davenport brings his years of teaching and research in educational psychology to the Langer Mindfulness Institute. After graduating from Williams College with a B.A. in Psychology and Spanish, Chase spent two years as a Kindergarten teacher through Teach for America in Richmond, CA. His desire to unite research and teaching brought him to the Bing School at Stanford University, where educational research informs progressive teaching and learning practices. Chase has designed and implemented research focused on mindfulness, critical thinking and creativity analysis. He also holds his M.A. in Urban Education Policy and Administration after thoroughly studying creativity evaluation in low-income schools.
Chase’s work in psychology has brought him to Argentina and to South Africa, and he applies his international perspective to research with both Williams College and Harvard University. Currently Chase builds Mindfulness content for consulting and facilitation in Cape Town, South Africa.
